Kobo Books App Reviews

I like the program itself, but once a review has been made I expect to never have the program prompt me for another. Over and over. Fix this please

I love this app, the only thing I cant seemed to firgue out is how to take a book off of preview so I can read the whole story. I love books, but this is 1 thing that stops me.

Really easy reading app; but like others have written I would like to clean up my library.

I kept trying to find something I didnt like about the app, but it worked perfectly, was easy to use, and I dont have to drop a bookmark when Im done reading for the day - it does it for me!

It gives thousands of awesome books to choose from for FREE!!! You also get to customize your library them! I have been looking for an app like this one!

The app is fine for reading, subject to touch screen quirks that affect all apps. I have two complaints about the product. One is critical, one a nuisance. The critical complaint is the app frequently erases the contents of books and they have to be downloaded again. Uses cell time and hopeless if you dont have Internet. The nuisance is all the social media rah-rah. I dont need a nanny to tell me Ive been a good boy for reading a book or that I should share my brilliant insights with the world.

I really enjoy using it to read my ebooks. The only downside is that it doesnt have a jump-to-page feature, which I find very important, other than that, perfect app. It also have an amazing feature is when you choose a word, a small window with the words Google and Wikipedia definition will automatically appeared. Super convenient. Love it!!

I can switch between devices and seamlessly just keep on reading where I left off. And buying books on kobo.com is easy.

This app is amazing. You can purchase books straight from it but my favorite thing is the page count. Simple but true. Kindle and nook tell you page 12 of 200 and it stays the same after 3 page swipes whereas this one adjusts the page count to font size and is absolutely accurate. Also the discounts are awesome too!

The app itself isnt very good. The Kindle app is noticeably better, but the iBooks app is by far the best. Scrolling is much more natural on a phone/tablet than turning arbitrary ebook pages. It is odd that only iBooks offers you that option. If you have a problem with your purchased book, dont expect any help from Kobo. I bought a book, but Kobo sent me the wrong edition ebook (no annotations, etc). After I contacted them, they pretended to be understanding and indicated that I would be refunded, and they never followed through. You will be better served finding a less dodgy company to do business with.

The only app I use to read books. Easy to use and download new books without problems. I love this app. Other apps have caused me problems but Kobo has always been reliable for me.

I like it. Used to be an all-iBooks person. But now I buy exclusively through kobo. I like supporting my local indie bookstore. I havent had any problems for a very long time so I cant comment on customer support. The app itself is excellent. Love it.
