Works great on my iPad, they have all the books, and i like the customization options for better readibility. Only annoyance is that you cant buy books through the app. Have to log in to their site to purchase or preview :/

I like to be able to download my ebooks onto my desktop and this software lets you read in the iOS app, and also have a fully downloaded copy on your PC. This makes it much better than kindle or iBooks in my humble opinion.
I love using this app. I use this regularly and so far no issues.
Its really great for desktop app to phone app reading.
Quick and accurate
I have used the Kobo app on my iPad pro for eight months. There was an update yesterday and suddenly the font size for my books is too small to read comfortably, and adjusting the size of the font with the font tool does NOTHING to actually increase the size of the text. The actual size of the text remains exactly the same, the resizing simply adds more space between the lines. This makes it extremely difficult to read. I wouldnt have written this review except for the fact that when trying to submit a customer care request, I cant actually submit it through their website. My contact options are never displayed after taking the time to fill in the form online. Heres hoping someone at Rakuten reads this and contacts me.
Loved the app until this last update. Used to have the books I read separate from those I havent. Now they are one big mess. Have to scroll through to browse. Would give it minus stars if I could. Also screwed up the font size. Very disappointed.
This is the second go around on this story, just as good as the first time I read it.
Latest update wiped out my entire library except for one book. NOT HAPPY!
I love this app!!! All of my favorite authors & books!
30+ of PURCHASED books have disappeared from my library on this app! In order to read my purchases I have to go to KOBO website & open the download to a different app. Until this latest update I had no such problem. Am requesting refund of unavailable books so I can re-purchase them in an app that works.
Its awful the way you read, is the worst app for reading, hasnt highlighted, search, dictionary, notes, hasnt night-theme, the font is bad, everything is bad.
Worst app ever. I was a Sony customer so when they got out of the e reader business they transferred by books to this company. So far each time they update their app I lose more books and it seems their Customer Service team could care less about resolving the issue or replacing the books. Wanted to give no stars but review would not let me.
Will only display 6 of my 40+ books and wont download any of those!
Ive had this app for a long time, across a few different phones and tablets, and Ive never had an issue! By far my favorite ebook app!
I had over 2400 books. On the Kobo website it still says I do, but they are not on Kobo ereader. I have called and have done everything they told me to do but nothing has worked. One time I called nothing was working so I asked to speak to a supervisor and they hung up on me. I am very upset. Ive spent a lot of money and Kobo doesnt seem to care. I would like a refund if they are not going to fix the problem.
I both love and hate this app. I love it because it has some cool features, especially on the social side of things. On the downside, it is hard to navigate and my biggest gripe is that the font looks very fuzzy on an iPad Pro (all fonts). Please fix, it is hard to read comfortably compared to ibooks, kindle and Nook.
Its hard to keep track of which books I have completed-the new app will show I have finished a book-then, next time I open it, it shows a percentage read and I have to open it and "mark as closed" again. All in all, however, its by far my favorite reading app!
I like how the Kobo app works, especially the way folders can be used to sort books. Now the app on the iMac allows better search options. I see some folks saying books were lost. I have not had that problem on the iPad. I keep a separate record of eBook purchases in case it ever happens. That was useful in one case where I purchased the same book twice ( and Kobo fixed that quickly). Improvements? 1. It would be nice to have an archive folder for books I have read and probably wont revisit. It would be such that the all folder still shows all, but if I want to edit my books-read folder, it would let me go to the all listing minus the archive ones. As it is now, as my library gets bigger, it gets clumsier to use.
Easy to use ebook reader for the iPad. I can even put the ebooks into collections. Wish the application would sort automatically the titles I buy into genres. Works great.
