Looks pretty good, smoothly transitions among the menu options are really looking very well. Comparison with Kindle: Pros: - design; - inline pictures viewing much more convenient than in most others readers (scaling and full-size are supported); - different options for page turning (incl. scrolling like in browser); Cons (most significant): - no Russian dictionaries at all (except full search in Google like it was in Kindle; at least Google Translator support would be nice); - no search option; - too many overburden information (though almost everything can be deactivated manually). It was also convenient in some cases to use external Kindles converter (when you send a book in any supported format to special e-mail and get it in Kindle). All in all - interesting product (itself and as Kindles alternative).

Very convenient. The only thing is lack of books in other languages (needed french)

I updated it recently and now it doesnt work anymore. I run it, see the running screen for a couple of seconds and it closes without any message or anything else. Whats the problem? Im using iPad 2, ios not updated

Ugly and inconvenient interface, slow response time. The only thing why Ive been using it thats because apple doesnt want to sell books in this country. Well, shame on them. And yeah, this flip counter is just plain stupid. Aaaand yeah, learn how to hyphenate, will you?...

Nice application, I read all books via Kobo now. The only opportunity is to improve dictionary and have option to use Cambridge dictionary instead of basic apple

...after the last update on iOS8, it works slower. I like to highlight important words/sentences. And some very annoying things appeared, such as pop ups with information from Wikipedia & Google. They are not useful at all. They are just distracting and slow down everything. I dont get preferable response from touch-screen.

Kobo was the only book shop where I was able to buy the book I needed. Other book shops often have difficulties with international purchases. The app itself supports all standard features such as bookmarking, text highlighting, search, screen adjustments, etc. There are nasty lags in page curl mode – dont use it!

...if ebook was imported outside, not from the Kobo store.

Actually it works as it should

Once I realized you couldnt buy books through the app (thanks to Apple, not Kobo), I was able to fully enjoy this app. Once a title is purchased its easy to access and read- I especially like that it synchs your progress across devices. Customizing color and font is a cinch. I use it all the time. Good stuff!

I love my kobo glo and love that everything is so easy to access. I love my books, because when you are faced with limited book space in your home, this is an amazing option! I love this app because it provides freedom and discretion when on the go! I love this app and the serene images in the background as well as the easy use of this app! By far one of my favorite and go to app/company! Thank you Kobo!

This rating system is so easy to follow. Im still learning how to link the reviews, but I have high hopes for this retailer. Yay, Kobo!

Love this app!!!

I finally gave up Kindle and moved to Kobo. This app performs smoothly and gives a pleasurable reading experience. My only complaints: the Facebook link when I sign on. This is my personal device, my library is my private space. Facebook is not welcome in the privacy of my personal library. I wish I had a way to keep promotional links like Facebook off my app and out of my face, and I dont like being tracked. That means I dont want to see how many minutes Ive read. Its creepy that someone or something is tracking that without me turning it on.
